YaYa Gosselin is an American actress from Dallas, TX. She is of Mexican, French, Native American and English descent. YaYa started her acting journey at the The Clutts Agency in Dallas at the age of 5 when she was cast in a National Elmo commercial for Hasbro. She worked consistently in commercials till the age of 7 when she enrolled in acting classes at DTV Studios Acting for Film & Television where she still trains today. It didn't take long for YaYa to start contending for major roles. By 9 she had appeared in her first studio film, Peppermint, and co-starred on The Purge and 13 Reasons Why. She was cast to play Tali LaCroix in the planted FBI: Most Wanted pilot for CBS, was eventually upped to series regular, and appeared in 40 episodes along side Julian McMahon, stealing hearts along the way. At 10 years old she won the coveted lead role of Missy Moreno in Robert Rodriguez's new kids franchise We Can Be Heroes for Netflix, playing opposite Pedro Pascal and Priyanka Chopra-Jonas. The film had massive success becoming one of the most streamed films in 2021. A sequel is in development. In the fall of 2021, YaYa landed the lead role of Sam Torres in Apple TV+ new kids and family series Surfside Girls, based on the best selling graphic novel series of the same name. YaYa is passionate about playing non-stereotypical Latina characters. Outside of acting she is a dancer and an avid horse girl. She also plays the ukulele, guitar and piano proficiently. Her most sacred role is that of big sister to her sisters Pippa and Nico.
