Sebastian Cordoba is a spirited young Latino actor and rising talent who has overcome many obstacles in the pursuit of his dream. Born in Bogotá Colombia, Sebastian got his first break at the age of 12, when by fluke he accompanied some friends to a casting for a popular Colombian game show. To his surprise he was selected. The director, along with fellow cast members, recognized potential in the young performer and enthusiastically encouraged him to pursue acting. However, due to his tough economic situation at home, being raised by a single mother, and the violent and harsh atmosphere of his youth, it would take a few more years and a move to Canada before he would finally be able to pursue his passion. Not knowing any English, Sebastian bravely made the move to Canada in 2001, along with his mother and brother, settling in London Ontario, where he was able to enroll in acting classes through his high school. However, the difficult language barrier he faced made his goal of becoming a professional working actor seem illusory. Gradually, as his English improved, and with continual work on his craft, consistently ranking at the top of his class, Sebastian realized acting was much more than a hobby, it was a burning need. He was now in a place where anything was possible and acting didn't have to be an inconceivable dream. It could be his way of life. Since that time he has garnered much praise for his dedication, commitment, talent and work ethic. He has studied with some of Canada's most prestigious acting coaches, and worked on a range of projects.
