Lio Chavez
Known for his insightful and passionate performances, Lio Chavez is a multifaceted of Spanish/Italian/indigenous descent. Born a Mexican/Australian actor/ singer. He attended screen actors and the Melbourne acting studio for screen acting classes. When Lio was only 5 years old, he used to spend hours "singing and "dancing" while listening to the 80s pop icons: Michael Jackson, Madonna and Prince. At that time, his family discovered he had a natural talent for drawing cartoons as well. At the age of 9 and without any adult assistance, he choreographed a kids' dance group for a school festival in his hometown, Tampico Tamps, Mexico. He also wrote and won a storytelling contest for the school he studied at around the same year. Always driven by his natural artistic skills and loving acting, singing, dancing, he got hired by a local music band just after being auditioned for the job for the first time ever and singing just half of a cover song. Right on track, he performed in several bands as lead singer for seven years, touring different cities and States. After all that time and due to vocal cord problems. Lio decides to quit singing for a while. Then, rediscovering his passion for dance, he joined several all-inclusive resort hotel chains as part of their Artist crew, dancing and acting, sometimes as a M.C. Ultimately, Lio Chavez fell hard for acting when he performed on stage doing theatre, travelling all over Mexican territory in places such as Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Monterrey and San Luis Potosi.
