Laura Steponchev is a Canadian actress, writer, director, and producer. She was born and bred in Regina, Saskatchewan and, after completing a Certificate in Performing Arts from the Canadian College of Performing Arts, made the move to Toronto in 2013 to pursue her dreams of acting professionally. Since her move, she's been steadily building up her resume with a wide variety of work spanning from music videos, commercials, to short films and feature-length films, and even a recurring role in the video game scene.
Laura Stetman was born Laura Noelle Stetman on January 24, and has been performing since she was 3 years old. As a young child she was heard up in her bedroom portraying many Disney characters. At the age of 6 years old she would have her first role as a singing plate and an old beggar woman in her school play Beauty and the Beast. At age seven, Laura's family moved to the small town of Steamboat Springs, Colorado. She continued regular schooling along with expanding her acting range at the Perry Mansfield's summer performing arts camp. After one summer of performing arts camp, she declared to she would pursue her career as an actress/singer to her parents. After leaving her small mountain town she ventured to Southern California, attending one of the top film acting school's in Los Angeles: Gary Spatz The Playground A Young Actor's Conservatory where she would have the privilege of working with coach Gayla Goehl, Faran Fonte and Gary Spatz himself. Shortly after graduating from Gary Spatz's The Playground Acting School, she landed her first commercial, was pursued by her first talent agency, and became a member of Sag-Aftra. Since then she has starred in many short films, features, TV series, and web series, including the nominated tv series "Skitz", where she got her start playing various dramatic and comedic roles on Three60TV. After landing a principal role in Universal Studio's "HHN 2019" commercial as Jenny opposite Universal's Slimer from the iconic movie Ghost Busters, her career took off in performing co-star and guest starring roles on Disney Plus's "The Right Stuff", and Wild Dog's Productions "Woods of Purgatory". She would then go on to star in leading roles in many feature films and short films. The actress is best known for her lead roles as 'Vera' in the sci fi dramatic feature film "The Connection", 'Ashley Page' in the horror comedy feature film "American Bigfoot", and 'Yessica Underhill' in the Found Footage horror feature film "The Zand Order".
