Jamila Allen was born and raised in Columbus, OH. She always loved to be in front of the camera beginning with her first print model job at 12 months old. As a child, she was busy doing both print work and commercials. Jamila also loved to be on the runway either modeling or in pageants. It was during an acting seminar which was held at a pageant that she was bitten by the acting bug. Jamila never looked back. Although she loved modeling and pageants, acting was her passion. At 15 Jamila spent her junior year of high school in Los Angeles, but returned home to Columbus, OH to complete her senior year. At 17, she moved to Los Angeles to attend university and continue pursuing a career in acting.
