Josh Costell was born in Toledo, Ohio, on November 1, 1987. As a teenager, Josh began taking acting and modeling classes in his hometown. He was invited by his acting and modeling teachers to compete at the International Modeling and Talent Association (IMTA) in New York in 2006. While there, Josh received many callbacks and won an award. When Josh returned to Toledo from New York he filmed a PSA for Fox on Teens and Distractions While Driving. Later he filmed the independent drama film Glass City (2008) and the independent action feature Dogs of Chinatown (2010) in North Carolina, a short drama in Los Angeles called "Cry,". Josh also worked on many music videos including Korn (Hold On) and Madina Lake (One Last Kiss Story of the Year music video "Wake Up". In the feature film Eagle Eye (2008)Josh had a small role as a congressman. He is also under the training of Gerald Gordon, a well-respected acting coach with more than 40 years in the industry, and highly-rated acting teachers Lesly Khan and Margie Haber in Los Angeles. Other projects Josh has worked on includes MacBeth Shoes, Qualcomm, and Phillips Television commercials among many others. Josh continues modeling for various companies including Phat Cycles as well as acting and stunt work in independent films. His most recent work includes the lead role in the 2019 independent crime film On The Arm directed by Seth Bolyard and based on the life of monster Louis Sareno.
