A native of Hattiesburg, MS, Joseph VanZandt has been acting since he was 7 years old and appeared as a munchkin in a community theatre production of "The Wizard of Oz." Since then he has appeared in scores of college, community, and professional theatre productions throughout the Southeast. Joseph studied theatre at Baylor University for two years, and completed his undergraduate degree as a mathematics major at the University of New Orleans. He is currently a math teacher at Purvis High School in Purvis, MS, though he continues to pursue acting opportunities during his free time.
