Erica Beck began performing after envisioning herself as an actress with the determination of someone much older. At the age of 4, Erica attended an event where she was scouted and offered representation leading to roles in commercials, film, television and voice over animation. Erica's favorite role however remains in the blockbuster animated feature film, Disney Pixar's, "FINDING NEMO". At just ten years old, Erica gets a big laugh in the film when her character Pearl the Pink Octopus says to her school friends, "Aww, you guys made me ink". Erica is thrilled to have been invited to participate in the premiere for the release of FINDING NEMO 3D, and is excited to bring the 3D version to audiences around the world. Taking a break from auditioning for Hollywood projects, Erica attended high school where she discovered a passion for stage performance while taking Drama courses, during which time she won recognition through scholarships and theatrical competitions. Since graduating high school Erica has been cast in various local community productions, including for the Huntington Beach Playhouse "Seussical The Musical", as "Cat in the Hat", based on the iconic Dr. Seuss books; and "Hairspray", as "Penny Pingleton" at Cypress College Theater and Dance. Erica now attends California State University Fullerton, where she was one of just five girls to win a place in the highly regarded Bachelor of Fine Arts, Musical Theater program for the class of 2014. Erica will be attending the "International Cabaret Conference at Yale University"; she was one of only thirty nine performers of all ages accepted to this world renowned program. Erica is looking forward to increasing her skills through the master classes featured and building on the industry relationships which will have their start there. Erica has lent her support to various charitable organizations including Ronald McDonald House; which provides a home-away-from-home for families to stay close to their hospitalized child. After graduation from college, Erica plans to take on Broadway, using all of the knowledge and training from her early days in Hollywood as a child performer, adding to that, the experience, guidance and mentoring she will receive in the BFA Program at CSUF, to make her place on the "Great White Way".
