AJ Achinger is a film and television actor who got his start in the theater at Stagedoor Manor Performing Arts Training Center in New York. He went on to appear in professional productions such as Broadway Across America's Chitty Chitty Bang Bang before relocating to Los Angeles as a teen to pursue acting full time. AJ, never loosing his initial love for theater, regularly performs improv at Second City Hollywood in addition to his dramatic roles on programs such as Criminal Minds and Grey's Anatomy. In addition to being an accomplished actor, AJ is also a writer. His screenplay, Ritter's Gold, is an adaptation of Frank Hawkins' novel by the same title. AJ Cedeño was born on Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. Due to his father's former military status, AJ relocated multiple times in his youth - including two years in the Philippines - before being raised in southeast Kansas. He graduated from Saint Mary's - Colgan High School in Pittsburg, Kansas where he was captain of both the football and track teams as well as a participant in school musicals and the Speech/Debate programs. He holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Notre Dame. During his tenure there he was a walk-on member of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish football team (where he played Wide Receiver), and was also elected the Vice-President of his graduating class. He went on to receive his MFA in Acting from Case-Western Reserve University at the Cleveland Play House. He lives in New York with his wife.

AJ started acting when he was around 7 years old. Blessed with comedic timing, the ability to memorize lines, and to read and speak very well for his age, AJ booked many speaking roles in some big national and international commercials where he was the lead. Working with mega brands such as Nike, Walmart, Chrysler Pacifica, Volkswagen, Pizza Hut, just to name a few. With so many talents and with great acting range, he also booked guest starring roles on TV shows ranging from giant comedy series such as It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia (FXX), Blackish (ABC), The Good Place (NBC), and Brooklyn 99 (Fox), to sci-fi medical dramas like Pure Genius (CBS), to the new horror fiction comedy hit Shining Vale (Starz). AJ has done musicals, audio books, radio, and even hosted a couple of live events. He even had a part in Steven Spielberg's blockbuster movie Ready Player One. AJ is becoming a major voice actor doing dubbing and can be found on many animated projects. You will be hearing AJ on the upcoming Warner Brothers DC preschool hit show Batwheels debuting October 2022. AJ will be voicing the Duke Thomas version of Robin, who is making his on screen debut. AJ also is working on a LucasFilm project yet to be named. AJ has done dubbing for several movies, and TV shows. He also has voiced many characters in animated series and features like Barbie Dreamtopia, Barbie Dreamhouse Adventures, My Little Pony, and Motown Magic, for starters.
