Nate Hapke
Nate Hapke is an American filmmaker with a passion for people and stories. Born and raised in CT, Nate moved to NY for high school and attended Syracuse University. In May of 2014, Nate graduated from Syracuse Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Science in Television-Radio-Film.
Since graduating, Nate has been working full-time as a DGA Production Associate as a member of the Emmy-Winning Directing team for Disney/ABC's General Hospital, where he won four Daytime Emmy Awards for Directing (2017, 2020, 2021, and 2022). He has been writing/directing 2-3 short films a year since 2014, screening in festivals around the world (including the Short Film Corner of Cannes 2015, 2017, and 2018) and having garnered over 30 awards.
From 2011-2020, he was producing content under the P 1 2 3 Productions banner in association with SoZa Productions, S.D.U.T. Productions, We Made it in Toronto Productions, The Malt Shop, and small/TALL Productions, LLC.
In January 2020, small/TALL Productions LLC was created in partnership with writer/producer Rosie Grace. The first title to be produced under small/TALL is 2020's Ride Share, though 2018's She & Her was the first collaboration between Grace and Hapke.
